Description: This is the e-list for the BQA at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Tufts.

The Tufts Biomedical Queer Alliance is a student organization dedicated to serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) community. Our goal is to be the voice of queer students on the Tufts Boston Campus and to provide moral support for dealing with personal, social, and professional issues associated with being queer.

Some of our activities include forums to discuss issues surrounding queer identify and "coming out", as well as to provide social activities and volunteer opportunities. We make efforts to connect with LGBTQ professionals and professors at Tufts, and seek to educate the greater community by increasing LGBTQ visibility and raising awareness of the needs and concerns of LGBTQ folks.
