Description: We are an open community for everyone drawn to meditation and mindfulness. Some of us identify as Buddhists of many different backgrounds and beliefs, while others are more interested in practicing mindfulness, and still others are just curious to learn more about these practices and how they can help us relieve stress, live more in the present, and make peace with the challenges of life. TBMS is led by our student Executive Board, and we are supported and advised by the Buddhist Chaplain, Ji Hyang Padma, Ph.D.

The foundations of TBMS are the three meditation and mindfulness sessions we host each week, listed below. These sessions are open to everyone and you are welcome to come as often or infrequently as you like. No prior experience is necessary, only an open mind.

• Mondays, 12 – 1 pm: Mindfulness Meditation at the Interfaith Center (58 Winthrop St.)
• Wednesdays, 7:30 – 8:45 pm: Meditation and Buddhist Studies at Goddard Chapel
• Fridays, 12 – 1 pm: Meditation and Discussion at Goddard Chapel
