Subject: Shelter Medicine Club 2011-2012

Description: The Shelter Medicine Club invites guest speakers to discuss topics such as
breed-specific
legislation, compassion fatigue, temperament testing and other topics related to
medicine and sheltering. The group also visits area shelter/rescue organizations
and holds donation drives throughout the school year. Opportunities are
available for hands-on experience, including volunteer work at Tufts feral cat
spay-neuter clinics and fostering. Group is open to any and all
interested TCSVM veterinary, MAPP, and Ph.D. students.
