Subject: Participants in the annual Med. Ed. Elective

Description: The purpose of this elective is to introduce medical students to their future roles as teachers. In this interactive course, students will have the opportunity to read educational literature, discuss principles of learning, explore teaching strategies, practice teaching skills and develop educational materials. A focus on giving and receiving feedback will be emphasized. Students will participate in a forum about teaching and learning within a community of peers.
