Subject: Collaboration of Student Groups Involving Gender

Description:
The Coalition on Gender combines student groups with a gender focus, including Global Women, the Gender Equality Project, the Fletcher GLBT, and Women in Security. The goal of this group is to increase cooperation and collaboration between and among groups at Fletcher, as well as to continue the process of mainstreaming gender into the Fletcher curriculum and school culture. There are two branches of this organization. One branch is to address the larger umbrella of gender academically and in the structure of our own institution; the second branch is to facilitate training and empowerment for women at Fletcher and beyond. To this end, this coalition collaborates with alumni through Fletcher Women's Network and the Institute on Women in International Leadership.
